<description>It is actually very good &#039;begining to Training Evaluation&#039; Andy. Read with pleasure, understood all, so I guess you did well as a trainer here ;-).
I very much enjoyed it especially this part: &quot;don’t call it a test or evaluation!! &quot; :-))</description>

<description>Excellent definition, summary and overview of the use of competencies in the workplace, Andy. Many thanks for this.

The 2008 competency benchmarking survey by IRS for XpertHR found that the flexibility of the competency approach has attracted increasing numbers of employers, yet this very flexibility can also make competency frameworks difficult to understand and use.

We&#039;re currently running our &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.snapsurveys.com/swh/surveylogin.asp?k=127324141336&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;2010 competency benchmarking survey&lt;/a&gt; (closing date Friday 4 June 2010), and I&#039;d very much like to invite you and your readers to take part.

The results of this confidential survey will provide you with the chance to benchmark your experience of using competencies against other employers. All participants will receive a complimentary copy of our detailed analysis of the survey results, as soon as it is published.

For the purpose of this survey, &quot;competencies&quot; include lists and definitions of: (a) behaviours, attitudes and other soft skills; (b) technical and other hard skills; and (c) NVQs, SVQs and occupational standards.

Kind regards
